On Monday afternoon, a couple came checking into my humble bedroom.
I charged them S$80 per day. They paid me 3 days rental.
I do not like to rent my rooms to "Ang Moh" but I have no choice. Most travellers are "Ang Moh".
They wear shoes into the house and even to the bedroom.
They are messy and dirty when it comes to personal hygiene.
They never switch off the aircon when they are out.
They left the bathroom door open with the aircon on and that caused the aircon to work extra hard to cool the room.
I have not much choice.
I intend to sell away this unit and stay in Bangkok until I can buy a 3 Room Flat in Singapore which will be 1 and a half year later. By then, I wonder how much will it cost?
Th price for a 5 room Flat at Tiong Bahru is sold at $720K and most owners are asking around that region now.
The whole Singapore is having this en bloc craze and everyone seems to be making tons of money from properties and even shares.
No one is losing but I know, if I were to sell my Melville Park at 500K, I will never be able to buy another prvate condo in Singapore again. This is facts.
My aim of selling at 600K seems far now but I have confidence one day it will close at that price as more and more expats are coming to Singapore.
I hope to close at 600K by end September 2007.
